Paulo joined Basch & Rameh in 2000 and is now at the forefront of the corporate sector of the firm. Advises on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures and foreign investments in Brazil, as well as transactions in the oil and gas industry. He is noted for his expertise in financing transactions (asset finance) of oil platforms, drilling rigs and vessels. Paulo has published articles and is a founding member and former Director of Social of the Applied Corporate Law Institute (Instituto de Direto Societário Aplicado – IDSA). He is also a member of the Brazilian Maritime Law Association (Associação Brasileira de Direito Marítimo – ABDM).
